The 47th annual PPMC Employee Recognition Ceremony recognized thecommitments of 260 employees who last year celebrated their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 year anniversaries at Penn Presbyterian.
“Your collective hard work has allowed us to grow and succeed, so I thank you and congratulate you,” said Executive Director and CEO Michele Volpe.
Volpe mentioned the on-going construction and expansion projects as new opportunities to continue Penn Presbyterian’s years of growth and success.
Employees recognized at the event were presented with certificates and gifts by their managers. One employee, Linda McCafferty (above, left ), was recognized for an astonishing 45 years of service and dedication. Now a staple in the Penn Presbyterian family, McCafferty is recognized as a team player, hard worker and exceptional employee by her managers and teammates alike.
“Without the loyalty and dedication of employees like Linda, we would not have achieved our current level of stature,” said Lana Brunkel, manager of Medical Records Completion, who presented McCafferty with a special token of appreciation and a bouquet of roses.
