January 21
MLK Day of Remembrance
All are welcome to the 2013 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day of Remembrance on Monday, January 21, in the Zubrow Auditorium at 12:30 pm. The guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. LaVerne Adams and there will be readings by George A. McCall Elementary School Students.

This year’s theme – “What will you be a drum major for?” – is based upon a quote from Dr. King which sates: “If you want to say that I was a drum major, say that I was a drum major for justice. Say that I was a drum major for peace. I was a drum major for righteousness. And all of the other shallow things will not matter.”
