Breast Cancer Awareness Month Public Events

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Joan Karnell Cancer Center at PAH is sponsoring the following free events:

Health Living:  Reducing Your Risk of Cancer
Thursday, October 25 from 5 – 7 pm
Old Pine Community Center, 401 Lombard Street
This community education program about healthy living focuses on breast and prostate cancer. Experts from the JKCC will present the latest information on cancer prevention, nutrition and genetics.

Look Good, Feel Better – A Day of Beauty
Monday, November 14 from 10 am to 12:30 pm
Joan Karnell Cancer Center, 230 W. Washington Square
Provided in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, this workshop offers beauty techniques, support, courage and a true sense of community to help those facing the challenge of a lifetime.
