Blood Management Awareness Week October 15-19

Image1The Center for Bloodless Medicine & Surgery (CBMS) at PAH recognizes that blood is a precious and scarce resource. The CBMS strives to effectively coordinate and attain the blood management needs of a patient by using the latest drugs, technology and techniques to decrease blood loss and enhance the patient’s own blood supply.

Blood Management Awareness Week, being held from October 15 to 19, is designed to highlight the collaborative team approach employed at PAH to assess the blood management needs of our patients.
