Join Penn Medicine/CHOP Team for the LIVESTRONG Challenge Philly – August 18
The Penn Medicine/CHOP Team will once again take to the streets of Blue Bell and the surrounding countryside for the LIVESTRONG Challenge Philly. This family-friendly event at the Montgomery County Community College offers participation and volunteer options for everyone, regardless of experience. On Saturday, August 18, join us out on the 5K run/walk course or test your limits with the 10K course. Join Team UPHS/PENN for the 32nd Bike MS: City to Shore Ride – September 29-30
On September 29 and 30, hundreds of UPHS employees will join the organization's cycling team to ride as the largest team on the 32nd anniversary of the Bike MS City to Shore Ride and 16th anniversary of the UPHS Bike Team. The team is open to everyone including your friends and family and our patients. We've worked with Garry Scheib, the team's founder, to set a system-wide goal of recruiting 325 team members this year and raising $135,000. This one or two-day cycling event has been named the best cycling getaway in NJ by industry expert Bicycling Magazine. Various starting points in southern NJ enable participants to choose from the following mileage options: 25, 50, 75 or 100 on Saturday or 150 and 175 over the course of the weekend. 5K for The The Institute on Aging and The Memory Mile Walk – September 30
The 1st Penn's 5K for the IOA and The Memory Mile Walk will be held on a unique course on the University of Pennsylvania campus. Starting in front of the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, it will run through Penn Park with its skyline views of the City before finishing on the College Green at the Fine Arts Building Plaza.
