Congratulations to JoAnne Negron-Ruggiero, BSN, RN, who has been appointed to Nurse Manager of 6 Cathcart, effective January 2012.
JoAnne received her Bachelors degree from LaSalle University and will graduate with her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University in February 2012. She began her nursing career at PAH and has served as a charge nurse for the Labor and Delivery Unit and was most recently served as chair for the Shared Governance Committee.
“JoAnne has demonstrated clinical expertise, development of collaborative partnerships, and advocated for excellence in patient care,” said Frank Sites MHA, BSN, RN clinical director, Nursing Administration. “Her commitment and dedication to the patients, families, and staff is clearly evident.”
Special thanks to Janine Murphy, MSN, BSN, RN, for filling the role of Interim Nurse Manager on 6 Cathcart during this transition period. “Janine did a remarkable job of balancing the operations of the unit in collaboration with the 6 Cathcart Charge Nurses Lauren Durkin, Trisha Flack, and Valerie Masci.” said Frank.
