Penn Presbyterian’s Nursing Shared Governance and journey to Magnet designation recently organized a hospital-wide holiday decoration contest to encourage patients and staff to spread holiday cheer. The judges were impressed by the great displays from all participating departments, but the Pathology Lab’s decorations and custom rendition of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” created by Trish Payne and Drita Dogjani earned the department 1st place! The Emergency Department claimed 2nd place with their “Magnet Land” décor while 3rd place was awarded to the hand crafted decorations of the CCU’s “Winter Wonderland”.
PPMC’s Nursing Shared Governance and Magnet Program thank all the departments that participated in the contest. Everyone did a phenomenal job getting in the spirit of the holiday season. If you have the opportunity, please stop by 5 Wright Saunders to see the winning entry, or Human Resources’ Candy Cane Lane, 5 South Pole, and Old World Xmas on 5 East.
