Bernie Dyer, corporate director of Safety Management, and Kate Fitzpatrick, MSN, CRNP, clinical director of Women’s Health, display the new HUP Emergency Flip File. This new resource contains quick reference and directions for a multitude of emergency conditions, such as hazardous materials, fire, security, mass casualty, utility and many other emergencies that may upset the normal everyday operations of the hospital.
The Safety Management office is currently distributing the quick reference
guides to key areas of the hospital. They are intended to be an accessible resource with pertinent information and guidance for staff in times of emergencies, incidents or heightened needs.
