October is National Physical Therapy Month, and a great time to celebrate the Physical Therapy Teams here at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) and at Penn Center for Rehabilitation and Care (PCRC).
We recently welcomed Lisa Crescenti, PT, DPT and PRN PT staff Jill Altshuler, PT, Amy Modzelewski, PT, Lisa Winward, PT plus weekend aides Megan Chronister, Devan Green and Caitlin Booth. At Penn Therapy and Fitness, PRN PT's Mike Denny, MSPT and Kristin Siegel, PT, DPT joined Marty and Brian.
We continue to work with nursing on patient focused initiatives like the Cupp 5 Out of Bed program and the ACE mobility program. To better address our patients’ needs, additional therapists have been ICU certified. The therapy team is excited for completion of renovations on 4 Scheie and at PCRC as the short term unit expands!
