Penn Presbyterian's own Lauren Fagan, newly appointed Nurse Manager of the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), was also recently commended by Nursing Spectrum magazine, as one of the national award finalists in the Mentoring category.
Lauren joins HUP's Jill Gehman, nurse manager of the Cardiothoracic SICU, who was a national finalist in the Management category.
Lauren is highly respected for the work she has done with the thoracic population, the observation unit, and her patient ambulation program. She has a strong background in cardiac nursing and critical care.
Lauren earned her baccalaureate degree in nursing science from the University of Missouri and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in nursing science from La Salle University.
