For the third year in a row, our nurses completed a survey gauging the structure, process and outcomes of nursing care at Penn Presbyterian. With an impressive 100 percent participation rate (the national average is 82 percent), the survey showed that Presby has improved overall, with significant jumps in key areas including in Nurse Manager Support, RN-MD Relations, Job Enjoyment, Unit Perceived Quality of Care, Time with Patients and Enough Time to Document.
“The feedback provided in the NDNQI RN Satisfaction Survey is a helpful tool to guide our priorities and actions,” said Mike Becker, Chief Nursing Officer at PPMC. “This has led to the development of initiatives, programs, and results, all designed to improve the work-life experience for nurses at PPMC.”
