The latest edition of Philadelphia Magazine highlights the region’s top doctors, and Penn Presbyterian is prominently featured. This year, 33 Penn Presbyterian physicians are listed among Philly’s best.

In addition, PPMC’s Chief Nursing Officer, Michael Becker, RN, MSN, CCRN, and SICU nurse Lorie Fosbenner, RN, BSN, were part of a panel of nurses interviewed for an article entitled “What Nurses Wish You Knew.”

When explaining why patients should tell the truth, Becker explains: “A lot of times, patients say something like, ‘I don’t know why I’m GI bleeding, I don’t drink. They mean they only drink a fifth a day. Or they don’t tell you they break their pills in quarters because they can’t afford them.”
