"It's just a little over two weeks since my Prostatectomy surgery at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and my recovery is coming along very nicely.
When I entered the Cupp building for admission I was greeted by the personnel as if I was the most important person in the building. It was so comforting and reassuring to be in the presence of a professional staff who cared about me on a personal basis.
This same commitment and dedication spilled over into my hospital room #505. The many faces who cared for me were very kind and courteous in meeting my needs during recovery.
Spending time in a medical setting is a very real negative experience. What made my time more easily to cope with were the wonderful men and women who tended to my every need.
I'm also extremely fortunate to have had the brilliant skills of my surgeon, Dr. William I. Jaffe, who in a matter of a few hours in the operating theatre solved a medical problem that I had been living with for nearly a year. You folks are just super fantastic."
